Did you know that an astonishing 3,437 tonnes of food waste is disposed of daily in Hong Kong? That’s enough waste to fill 239 double-decker buses! Our food choices can have a profound impact on our planet. Every bite we take can either contribute to a sustainable future or perpetuate the crisis of food waste🍽️

Last week, HM's Social Responsibility Team (SRT) came to the Food Angel’s Food Station in Cheung Sha Wan to peel/ sort/ cut surplus veggies 🔪 🥦and have saved them from being disposed to landfills , they were then being processed into nutritious meals and be redistributed to serve the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. As a team we prepared a total of 410kg veggies 🤞.
